I thought I knew what cold was, but living in Fort Wayne, Indiana for the last 4 months for my husband’s basketball season has proven that unless you’ve lived through a midwest winter, you don’t even know cold! For me, winter’s chilly temperatures mean that my hair is drier than usual. Dry, brittle, frizzy, dull hair is never cute, so I decided to give my curls some TLC with an NaturAll Club Deep Conditioner. Back in December, I released a Holiday Gift Guide for The Curly Girl that included NaturAll Club’s subscription based deep conditioners. Although Santa didn’t bring it for me last Christmas, the folks over at NaturAll Club were kind enough to gift me one of their boxes for free to try and review.
NaturAll Club uses fresh ingredients such as avocados, tea tree oil, and shea butter to give natural hair the nutrients it craves. Their products are vegan, cruelty-free, gluten-free, organic or natural, handmade in small batches, and made in the U.S.. They have three formulas: one for dry hair, one for damaged hair, and one for dull hair. Given my hair’s current state, I chose the dry hair formula. Their Fresh Avocado Deep Conditioner Solution Box contains everything you need for moisturized, healthy tresses for less than $30 per month, including a spray bottle, a hair tie, a shower cap, the hair mask, and a leave-in serum to use after your treatment. One thing that I absolutely loved about this product is the it goes on as a pre-poo. It has amazing slip which enable you to detangle your hair thoroughly before you rinse it out and continue your wash day routine. My hair loved the NaturAll Club Hair Mask, and for days afterwards, I had soft, shiny, defined curls that I was complimented on repeatedly. I’m sharing all about my experience in the video below!
