Lyfe Tea Review

We’re big tea drinkers in the Jones household. From earl grey in the mornings to green tea after meals and chamomile in the evenings, we love tea and are loyal Teavana customers. When a friend of mine told me that she had done a teatox about a year ago, I was immediately interested in how I could use tea to detox my body and potentially lose weight. There are a million and one different teatoxes out there and, honestly, they all seem to be basically the same. After reading reviews and doing some research about the active ingredients, I decided to give Lyfe Tea a try.

Lyfe Tea

According to the Lyfe Tea website, their teatox is designed to aid in digestion and eliminate toxins released from fat cells during weight loss. The teatox includes a morning tea and an evening tea. The morning tea contains Moringa, a superfood with a range of benefits, as well as other natural ingredients that provide energy and suppress appetite. The evening tea is the detox tea that cleans out your digestive tract of toxins and impurities to promote increased energy and metabolism.

Lyfe Tea Review

In the last year since I first purchased Lyfe Tea’s 14 Day Teatox, I’ve done the program about 4 times. Most recently, I did the teatox before my trip to Bali (more on my trip to Bali to come in Wednesday’s post) to detox and ensure that I didn’t look bloated in my bikinis. Although I can’t say that the tea has helped me lose weight, I have seen other amazing benefits:

More Energy: Whenever I do the Lyfe Tea Teatox, I have tons of energy. The evening tea helps me to sleep soundly through the night and the morning tea gives me that boost that I need to power through my day.

Less Bloat: Post teatox, I definitely feel way less bloated. I feel lighter and I notice that, although the number on the scale doesn’t change, my tummy looks a little flatter.

Clearer Skin: After completing the Lyfe Tea program, my skin has a glow to it and my friends and family have commented that it looks clearer. Although this isn’t necessarily one of the purposes of the teatox, I would assume it has to do with the impurities that are released from my system.

What to Expect During the Lyfe Tea Teatox

Before I purchased Lyfe Tea, one of my main concerns was side effects. During the teatox, you can expect increased energy without any jitters. You can also expect to be VERY regular in the mornings. The detox tea definitely does make you “go” the morning after you drink it. The tea tastes pretty good on it’s own, but I recommend adding natural sweeteners or lemon to improve the taste. I prefer it served hot, but if I know I’m going to have a busy morning, I like to make my morning tea the night before and stick it in the fridge so I can grab it and go. Overall, I always really enjoy the Lyfe Tea Teatox. My husband even likes the evening tea because it helps him to sleep through the night. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it solely for weight loss, but I would recommend it as a detox.
