As much as we would like it to, the honeymoon never lasts forever. In any relationship, eventually time takes its toll and people get comfortable. While the love may last, the spark fades just a little bit, and it takes both work and commitment by both parties to keep the passion alive. That’s where CheMinistry comes in.
Created by Chanel Scott, CheMinistry is a relationship platform that aims to bridge the gap between purpose driven men and women who desire to progressively take their relationships to the next level by creating a space free of judgment and full of love where individuals can have candid and transparent conversations. “Whether you’re single or married, we’ve all had that moment when we’ve found ourselves enthralled by someone and thought maybe this person has the potential to go to the next level, and then all of a sudden, the chemistry begins to change – he stops calling, she stops texting – the relationship become stagnate. CheMinistry was created to help get the relationship past the place of stagnation where things become common all too soon,” Scott explained. At each CheMinistry event, Chanel Scott invites influential panelists to join her in advocating for healthy relationships by sharing their unique expertise. The last event, co-hosted by actor and chef Willie Wallace, Jr., featured panelists such as Bravo’s Robin Dyke, entertainment host BossMan Q, Shay Johnson of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta, Andre Carter, a relationship author and co-star on WeTV’s Braxton’s Family Values, and certified matchmaker and relationship coach D Clark.
As someone who is passionate about healthy relationships and happy, lasting marriages, I have the utmost respect for others who advocate for love. CheMinistry is back and I am thrilled to be a part of their next event, which will be held on Wednesday, July 20th at Atlanta’s Suite Food Lounge. The upcoming relationship panel and social hour will feature Chanel Scott and Willie Wallace, Jr., as well as panelists such as motivational speaker and celebrity fitness trainer Matt Jordan (who you may recognize from the Real Housewives of Atlanta), 1st Lady of HipRock Reigndrop Lopes, grammy nominated master engineer Dvante Black, attorney and author of “Give Me the Fairytale” Kim Whitehead, and guru of abs and celebrity fitness trainer DaShaun Johnson! I hope that you will join us for an evening of enlightening dialogue that you will enjoy regardless of your current relationship status. Tickets are free with a food or drink purchase, so be sure to visit www.cheministry.eventbrite.com to RSVP today.
