Between events, meetings, and much needed date nights, I have been all over the place for the last week. My calendar has been slammed and I’m not complaining. Because my husband and I share a car here in Atlanta (what’s the point in having two cars here when we’re only here for a few months out of the year?), sometimes, on my hectic weeks, it’s difficult for us to balance our schedules to ensure that we both have a way to get around. Usually, I utilize Uber but this past week, Drive Shop lent me the 2016 Mazda 6 i Grand Touring. The timing could not have been better and the Mazda 6 made the perfect accessory.
In soul red, the Mazda 6 i Grand Touring created the perfect pop of color against my all white romper. I had the pleasure of driving it not only to Erica’s Table of 20, but also to another event that I attended that same weekend, the Brew’d. The Brew’d is a fabulous tea party for female entrepreneurs to share ideas, experience, and advice. The topic of June’s event was ClariTea and it was just what I needed.
The 2016 Mazda 6 i Grand Touring is not only a great accessory to any outfit, but it’s also fun and easy to drive. With features like a built in navigation system, a back up camera, and bluetooth capabilities to allow for hands free calling and easy music streaming, it’s the perfect vehicle for busy wifepreneurs like myself who often find ourselves multi-tasking. The car allows you to do multiple things at once in the safest way possible. As someone who has only owned “luxury” vehicles in the past, the Mazda 6 i Grand Touring’s breakthrough technology made me a believer in the fact that you can pay half the price and still get all the amenities and then some. You don’t necessarily have to pay top dollar for a quality vehicle. In all honesty, the 2016 Mazda 6 did more than any Mercedes or Audi that I’ve ever owned. The car has built in cameras that interact to alert you if another vehicle is in your blind spot while you’re trying to change lanes and automatically breaks for you if you are extremely close to rear ending another vehicle. On top of all of the super cool technology, the interior of the car is comfortable and easy on the eyes. For a vehicle of its size, the 2016 Mazda 6 i Grand Touring is roomy and the trunk is large enough to fit many a shopping bag. The back seats even fold down to allow for more space after a successful trip to Costco.
I had an amazing experience driving the 2016 Mazda 6, and what made it even better was that Mazda’s Drive for Good campaign allowed me to give $25 to the charitable organization of my choosing. The choice was easy for me and I decided to donate to the JetJones Foundation, the nonprofit organization that my husband and I launched last summer. The Mazda Drive for Good program launched in 2013 as a part of the company’s commitment to charitable service. Thus far, the program is responsible for donating more than $7.6 million and pledging more than 120,000 charitable service hours. I loved being able to drive an amazing vehicle and make a difference in the community at the same time. The company’s commitment to community service is something that I admire and my experience with the Mazda vehicle was nothing but positive.
